Thermography
A poorly performing thermal envelope of a home can cost you money in unexpected energy bills. Energy loss can happen due to missing, thin insulation, poor design, and older construction. Our Certified Professional Inspectors, using the latest technology, will look for signs of energy loss through walls, ceilings, floorings, windows, doors, the attic, and more. We also look for issues in your ducting and HVAC systems that could be costly. An infrared thermal camera generates images during the inspection that allow our Inspectors to see items and possible issues that may not be visible to the naked eye. The use of infrared thermal imagery can reveal issues such as:
• Air seepage in walls, ceilings, floors, doors, and windows
• Damaged or malfunctioning radiant heat systems
• Air-conditioner compressor leakages
• Other structural problems that can lead to energy loss
• Damaged seals in double-paned windows
• Overloaded circuits or malfunctioning electrical equipment
• Water intrusions in the foundation or interior walls, roof leaks, plumbing leaks, damaged or wet insulation
• Heating and cooling concerns can decrease the comfort of your house and increase your utility expenses
While our thermal video cameras don't provide us with X-ray vision, they do help us find problems that the naked eye can't see. Our reports is user-friendly and contain digital IR images and HD images as needed.
